Sixty-three percent of millennials working from home across the U.S. are planning on buying a house directly as a result of their ability to work remotely, according to survey results released Wednesday by Realtor.com. About half 49% of those surveyed are planning on buying sooner than their original timeline. The Santa Clara-based company also found that 68% of respondents were able to save more for down payments during shelter-in-place orders, although with rising home prices — in Denver, September resulted in the "toughest market to buy a house in Denver metro's history" — 45% expect to receive assistance from family or friends. So where are the hot neighborhoods for millennials to settle, whether they buy or rent?
