Fun Patio Bars in the Parker, Franktown, and Elizabeth Area

Hanging out with family and friends at a nice patio bar in the summer is a great way to enjoy a relaxing lunch and cold brew, people watch, converse about nothing in particular, and catch a few rays. The Parker, Franktown, and Elizabeth areas in Douglas County are home to some of the friendliest patio bars in the region…serving up a variety of food while providing great service in a pleasant environment. Here are a few:

In Parker, the Brick House Tavern and Tap is a great sports bar serving yummy burgers, and the Elk Mountain Brewing joint features a variety of craft brews and a killer patio out back. The 20 Mile Tap House serves traditional American food and offers live music, and the Parker Garage includes great desserts, and also serves breakfast and Sunday brunch in a nice outdoor seating area. The Tailgate Tavern & Grill also serves breakfast and brunch and features a great choice of seafood items.

La Casita is a Mexican restaurant with beer and cocktail bars, and the Takoda Tavern is a sports bar with delicious burgers. Barnett & Son Brewing Company is yet another Colorado craft beer venue, while the FuNuGyz pub is a fun sports bar featuring Mexican food. For barbeque lovers, the Hickory House Ribs & Steak outfit is among the best, and the Stonegate Café serves up a great breakfast.

Vines Wine Bar located on Parker’s Mainstreet has an excellent patio, and for those year-round Irish folks, The Celtic House Pub is ideal with Irish grub and delicious desserts. And in Franktown, the legendary StageCoach Saloon is a friendly biker bar (that’s right, nice people ride motorcycles, too), that is highly rated for service, food, value, and atmosphere.

In Elizabeth, the Sawmill Bar & Grill is a traditional American restaurant known for its tasty Ribeye steak, French Dip, Brussel Sprouts, and outstanding fare from old family recipes. The Sawmill offers a billiards table, darts, a juke box, televisions, friendly service, and a great country environment.

There is also a great variety of patio bars in nearby Castle Rock, Castle Rock North, Lone Tree, Highlands Ranch, and Centennial. Check out these places online by doing a Google using “patio bars” for whatever city you prefer. Happy summer on Colorado’s great restaurant patios!
